Life of a contractor

Well, I am officially relocated to MN for the rest of the summer. My position at SAS is done for the time being, as it was only a temporary position anyway. I’ll be working out the rest of the summer (until school starts again) in Minneapolis for a company called Minnesota Control Systems. They do large building control systems installation and configuration, specifically with Honeywell hardware.

So, for the first time in the last 5+ years, I do not have an office, desk, cubicle or computer to call my own. For the most part, at least right now, all my work is setting up and troubleshooting HVAC control systems in many (large) buildings in the greater twin cities area.

So far I’m settled in to my temporary residence well, and I enjoy the job. I think it will be a good fit. It’s certainly a change living in a large city for a while. More later (I suppose).
