To be more specific, Cinco de Mayo was not late at all this year. Just this post about it was. Nik and I had never really celebrated it before, so we decided to go all out in stereotypical americanized Cinco de Mayo fashion. This includes a 6-pack of Corona, a bag of tortilla chips and some salsa. We finished the night off with some genuine mexican cuisine: a run to Taco Bell (ha!). Anyway it was a good night.

Also last night I went out to the DT with some friends – we sat out on the back deck since it was somewhat warm. I’ve been waiting all winter long to be able to do that. It was really quite nice, although a bit brisk. In a couple of weeks here it should be really nice out on the deck there.
